Hi, I'm George. Dog dad. Founder. Ingredient snob.

I started Hearth & Hound in my own kitchen because I was tired of seeing dog treats packed with preservatives, fillers, and ingredients I couldn’t even pronounce. I wanted something better — something real — for my best friend, Pumpkin.

What began as a homegrown project quickly picked up momentum. Friends asked for them. Then neighbors. I realized I wasn’t the only one who cared deeply about what went into my dog’s bowl.

To grow the right way, I sought out the most reliable, high-quality production partners I could find — without ever compromising on the values I started with.
